Special Honor

(Sept. 27) Congratulations to Dr. Levi and his colleagues, for their recent manuscript selected by the Journal of Biological Chemistry to be featured in its virtual issue titled: Diabetes, Obesity and the Metabolic Syndrome. Journal editors said the papers selected for inclusion represented “exciting advances in this field.” The manuscript, SGLT2 Expression is increased in Human Diabetic Nephropathy: SGLT2 Inhibition Decreases Renal Lipid Accumulation, Inflammation and the Development of Nephropathy in Diabetic Mice, was originally published in February 2019.
